2015 North Carolina Building Code-Existing Building Code
North Carolina Chief Code Officials from the State Fire Marshall's Office will review changes and additions to the Existing Building Code. You will learn about the existing North Carolina building codes including building codes scope of work, and building code definitions. You will also be given up to date compliance methods (both prescriptive and work area,) for repairs, and different levels of alterations; as well as learn to understand the change of occupancy, additions, historic buildings, relocated or moved buildings, performance compliance methods and construction safeguards.

At the end of the class, you will be asked to click on a link to a short survey that we ask you to please complete. We will that use that information to report your continuing education credits. You may watch this video as many times as you need, but please only take the survey at the end once. (Please note- we will only report credits once for each registered participant.)
